Recently I have been made aware of some really unsucessful swaps.  By unsuccessful I mean, People not following thru or sending work that looks rushed or unsatisfactory.  I am asking  that you please be considerate of your swap partner.  Please keep in contact with them, so that if things happen they can be the first to know.  Also send work that you are proud of, work that you would be happy to receive.  So Here are the General Swap Guidelines:
1.The Theme Is AMOR, please create a Mini album for you partner with the theme.
2.The album must have at least six pages. If you want to do more pages, that's totally up to you!
The album pages should be no smaller than 4x4. Standard is probably 6x6, if you would like to go larger, that is totally up to you and your partner.
3.  Swap items should be in the mail to your partner by the January 30th 2011.  This gives you plenty of time, to create an  album.  Please get in touch with your partner asap, and stay in contact should anything come up.Thank you, I am excited for the swap!

My 12 days of Christmas 2011 Day 4

Hi everyone.  We have had a lot of snow lately and it has been cold and I have been thankful to not have to travel to work.  I mean unless you count from my bedroom to the computer a commute! (some days it is believe me! :-)
I hope you all had a fun black Friday.  I was surprised with my Christmas present on Thanksgiving!  My sweet husband bought me a brand new  video Camera YAY!! it is a Sony handi cam and starting on day 6 I will be using it.  I haven't figured out all the bells and whistles it has and I am not sure I ever will but I need to be able to at least load to Youtube.  That is my goal for the week.

My 12 days of Christmas Cards day 1

Ok so I just noticed the other day that a radio station here town is already playing Christmas music.  I could not believe it.  That reminded me that I have a fun project to post. So with out further Adieu...........I am so happy to announce this is day 1 of my 2nd annual 12 days of Christmas cards.  This series was such a fun one last year, i just had to do it.  I will be posting every Friday and Wednesday (or as close to those as I can)  Until the 12 days are up.  You can leave a comment on the blog post or YT channel for your chance to win the 12 cards at the end of the series.  The more episodes you watch and comment on the more chances you will have to win.  Hope you all enjoy the series.

Christmas card camp

SO happy to announce my upcoming Christmas card camp.  The card class should take about 1 hour depending on how quick you work.  Last year This camp was really fun lots of yummy treats and some really fun cards.  The cards are made with the Creative Basics Mistletoe Collection from CTMH.  We are also going to use the clear Acrylic cards this year as well.  Hope you can make it Camp will be Saturday Nov 13th at 10am.  For those of you who are not in my area but would like to purchase a kit cost is $20 and includes Shipping.  Just send me a message and I will get it out to you. Mommy & Me class, School shopping for Accessories

Ok so here it is August and it is time for school shopping again.  I am torn between being sad to see my kids go off to school and Happy that they will finally be going back to some structure!
  So while we were out shopping my daughter fell in love with some t-shirts and hair thingys at a place called Justice.  And after I looked at the price and picked up my jaw off the ground I proceeded to explain to her that at her young age of 6 she was going to have to realize that mommy is in no way no how made of $$$$ and like me when I was a kid, we were going to have to do without the Name brand stuff.  But she was lucky because unlike me, her momma was Crafty! and we were going to MAKE that cute t-shirt and those hair thingys OURSELVES.  I was a hero today. My daughter and i have been crafting away for the last couple of hours.  Here are the hair thingy's and i will add photos of the t-shirts as soon as I can.  A reminder some of these flowers shown will be the ones we create at our mommy & Me class this month. Fundraiser to Benefit MS CLAUDIA

He there everyone. I feel compelled to try and help out a scrappy sister.  Her name is MSCLAUDIA on You tube and she recently lost her Husband unexpectedly.  I have joined in with many others in the Youtube scrap community, by participating in a call from Jade (jadedstudios) to create 10 cards which she will then sell on her blog.  All the proceeds there will go to Claudia and her family in this time of need.  I also wanted to donate all my commissions from the sales made thru my website.  If you'd like to help out please go to my website between now and August 20th.  All my commissions will go to Claudia.

Memo Board Project

Hi there everyone.  I hope you are all enjoying your summer. i wanted to post pics of the latest project I have completed.  This was a simple but really fun project. I started and finished it in one day WOW! that is huge for me I can't say that about any of my work.  enjoy the photos.  Click here for the you tube video I did on this memo board.  In the end I went with a black and white polka Dot Ribbon to keep with the colors I want in my Craft room when I get around to redoing it.  The board is already hanging up in my room & I really like it. Mini Album Page

Hey everyone Excited to finally  post my photos of a page I did for a dear sweet lady.  Met her on YOUTUBE and she is amazing.  She sent me a RAK a few months back and I could not believe her generousity, sincerity and giving spirit.  I was asked by Bona (livelovescrap) if I would like to participate in a mini album for Velma and I was so excited.  Here is the page I created.

Heart 2 Heart challenges

I am playing along this week in the heart 2 heart challenge.  I found this blog last week and was so excited for it to start.  This is Challenge #1, check them out at Heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com  The colors are sunflower, sweet leaf and chocolate.  I used a purse card shape for my base.  Sponged the base in Sunflower.  Used the so happy stamp set (included in the Tickled Pink paper pack) the flower was stamped in sweet leaf.  Added a colonial white flower, That I glimmer misted with Marshmallow glimmermist.  A chocolate brad and chocolate ribbon for the handle. I made a video of the process but I am having a few issues with it. Hopefully that will be up shortly.  Let me know what you think.

Although you would not know it was Spring by the look of it outside today. Good Ol' Utah Weather. I have set a goal to post at least 2times a week this month.  You  know they say it only takes 22 days to make something a habit (crossing my fingers!). I have alot of projects coming up so can't wait to share.
